Learn how incorporating sustainable seafood options are beneficial to our health. We’ll also discuss how to choose fresh seafood and how to determine if it’s a responsibly caught choice. Chef and Owner Mike Lee of M Sushi will also demonstrate how to make one of M Sushi’s popular menu items featuring North Carolina shrimp, Hokkaido scallops and Hawaiian bigeye tuna. Dinner will be served following the class.

Nutrition Bites: Slicin’ and Dicin’

Practice your knife skills and learn how to become efficient in the kitchen with this hands-on cooking lesson followed up with dinner. Chef & Dietitian Tessa will highlight the nutritious elements of the ingredients we use in class. Chef Mario will lead the class by teaching proper knife handling techniques and knife cuts. We’ll cook together followed up by enjoying the fruits of our labor. Don’t miss this class, as we have limited spots available!
